In Your Face by LIME Uses Augmented Reality for Pie-Throwing Fun

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LIME Launched Pie-Throwing iPhone App on Apple’s App Store Friday Afternoon

Provo, Utah, September 19, 2011—LIME Marketing launched “In Your Face by LIME,” an iPhone application dedicated to easing the restless mind, Friday, September 16, 2011, to Apple’s App Store. The app is free and can be found at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/in-your-face-by-lime/id464330881?mt=8. “In Your Face by LIME” utilizes an augmented reality function, allowing users to throw pies at people in real time. The app uses the iPhone camera capturing footage of your lucky friend or foe as you throw a variety of pies in their face.

“In Your Face by LIME” is the newest addition to LIME’s Apple applications. During a design brainstorm session, inspiration hit when an employee alluded to her desire to throw pies at people. With this idea, LIME created “In Your Face by LIME.” The app’s main features include targeting audience members, real-time pie throwing, multiple pie options and picture file storage.

The app has ignited excitement and lots of laughter throughout the process of creation.
“Nothing makes me laugh more than throwing a pie at a co-worker or friend,” said Chris Owens, LIME Marketing’s Director of Business Development.

LIME’s The Project Intern Takes on Urban Dance Crew Competition in Salt Lake City

August 11, 2011, Provo— LIME Marketing launched reality show The Project Intern mid-July pitting six selected candidates against one another. After two elimination rounds, the interns will begin their third challenge, X Series 8, Saturday, August 13, 2011, from 6–11 pm at the Utah Arts Alliance, 2191 S. 300 W. #1B. The challenge? The Project Intern is excited to be involved in the BBoy Federation’s competition. Participants met with dance crew members earlier this week for advice and ideas for the challenge. After their meeting, crew dancers, interns and employees were treated to a demonstration of the breaker’s (dancer’s) expertise. The Project Intern contestants are pumped and ready for the big night this coming Saturday.

The BBoy Federation was founded in 2008 to sponsor and host bboy competitions in Utah and raise awareness for the bboy scene, allowing dancers to develop their skills and gain exposure.
